Schwinn Bicycles
My interest in the Giant made Hotfoot and variants available in other countries eventually lead me to the Predator range of bicycles made for Schwinn in the early to mid 80s. These bikes are classic Giant and some models are almost identical to the Hotfoots sold here in Australia. Most disappointing though for me is that these bikes seem to be higher spec than ours - look at the 24" full CrMo cruiser the US got compared to our HiTen version..

1997 Schwinn Youth Bikes
The 1997 Schwinn Youth Bikes begins with the quote Long before your first kiss, your first car, or your first mortgage payment, there was your first Schwinn. The day mom and dad handed you your first Schwinn. It's as much a part of growing up as the first time you tied your shoe, or bid farewell to your security blanket. Training wheels come off. Boundaries disappear. And miles are measured by the width of your smile.
The 1997 Youth Bikes pamphlet features the Thrasher 2.0 and 2.4, Predator Pro, Predator FW, Predator CB and Aerostar. Smaller kids are covered by the 12" Tiger and Tigress, Stardust and 16" Gremlin.
