Road Bikes
My (Humble) Collection
I'm hoping by putting up some photos of my road bikes I will motivate Darren to put up some photos of his three Eddie Merckx bikes that he is building. These bikes are being painstakingly restored to their original race glory with the exact parts and colour schemes from BITD.
Click on any image to see more photos of the bikes .. enjoy!

Extra Info / Links
Disraeli Gears This site pitches itself as 'a real collection of real derailleurs in all their rusty glory'. What you will find is a wealth of information about rear derailleurs and - almost as an afterthought - a collection of scanned brochures from dozens of manufacturers showing their entire group set offerings.
Other Bikes
Below are some of my other completed bikes. I am currently working on a couple of local Australian bikes and I will publish pictures of these when they are complete.
If you have a bike that you don't want and you are in Australia, contact me as I may be interested in restoring it!
Recent Updates
19 Nov 2012 Found this little beauty while walking the dog this morning. It had been abandoned on the side of the road but is in great condition and rides well - 18 gears with Shimano derailleurs, cranks and hubs and even a suspension seat!
19 Nov 2012 Colin has finally finished his Peugeot that he has owned for over twenty years. The bike includes a mix of NOS and restored parts!
04 Nov 2011 I've had this frame sitting around for a while now - I sold the original Suntour groupset off to help finance the rebuild. This bike has NOS Shimano 600 brakes and levers and freshly restored Shimano 600 cranks thanks to my trusty polishing wheel!

I sent some artwork to Glynn today for my single speed restore. Although the bike was branded with an Australian shop's name, it turns out that the frame was made by Miki and was known as a Sakai. I have made some modern decals for it using the designers tool of choice - Word! I have a number of downtube designs as I am unsure which I will use. Initially, I had a Japanese flag instead of the Rising Sun but I thought it was too Kuwahara-ish.
