BMX Bikes

1990 / 91 Repco HiTen

This bike is named the Hotfoot Coaster B212 in the 1990 / 91 catalogue and is described as 'Neon Red / Black'. Over time, the neon red paint has faded to an orange colour and the pad set to a washed out pink colour .. so much for UV stabilised paint and graphics.

This remains my sons favourite ride, despite us putting together a nice '85 HiTen for him in his chosen colour scheme. He has added his own touches to it including the pegs on the rear wheels and the Dia Compe Bulldog brakes.

Thanks to Ben Leech for some additional pads for the collection. I had previously sold a yellow CrMo set thinking I didn't need to have a spare set sitting around the house. But regrets .. and now I own a set again.

I found these on eBay and thought they looked cool - but what would you do with a pack rack that is this small? Its a great idea but as its all supported by a single centre bolt, your load would want to be both small and light.
