Press Play on Tape is proud to present a version of the classic Jordan Mechner game, 'Prince of Persia'. PPOT would like to thank a number of people who made this possible - Mr.Blinky, acedent, RaspberryBrain and Clintonium-119.
In the Sultan's absence, the grand Vizier Jaffar rules with the iron fist of tyranny. Only one obstacle remains between Jaffar and the throne: the Sultan's beautiful young daughter..
The Princess faces a tough decision: marry Jaffar within the hour or die. All the Princes's hopes now rest on the brave youth she loves. Little does she know that he is already a prisoner in Jaffar's dungeons ..
Navigate through the dungeons and upper levels of the palace to ultimately kill Jaffar and be reunited with the Princess!
The game has a couple of easter eggs which you may discover in your journeys.

Controls
Normal play:
◄ / ► will make player run left / right.
🅐 will make the player jump left / right from a standing position.
🅐 + ◄ / ► will make the player jump left / right while running.
🅑 will reveal menu (when the enemy is not visible).
Squatting:
▼ will make player squat (when standing).
▼ + ◄ / ►will make player squat and jump left / right.
Climbing up and down:
▲ will make the player jump up and hold to climb to a higher ledge.
▼ will make the player climb down from a ledge to a hanging position.
▲ when hanging from a ledge, will make the player climb up.
▼ when hanging from a ledge, will make the player drop down.
Fighting:
🅑 will draw sword assuming you have one and the enemy is visible.
🅑 will strike sword at enemy.
🅐 will return sword to scabbard if drawn.
▲ will block an enemy attack.
