Inspired by 80's games such as Dungeon Master, Wizardry or Eye of the Beholder, Dark & Under II brings the Dungeon crawler genre back to Arduboy.

Explore the Kingdom of Usmal and attempt to foil a conspiracy aiming at the King's demise. Pass through various regions of the world, filled with dangerous dungeons, and battle a variety of enemies, ranging from rats to ghostly knights. Along the way you will also encounter various NPCs that will send them on errands and other quests.

Installing the Game

You can install this game a number of ways:

Option 1 download the .arduboy file from the link above and install it onto your existing cart using Haloopdy's excellent Arduboy Toolset. This toolset runs on Windows and MacOS and makes updating the cart simple.

Option 2 download the PPOT cart from here. You can then flash the cart using Haloopdy's Arduboy Toolset. From the cart site, you can add additional games prior to downloading the cart via 'Download BIN' button in the top left-hand corner.

Order the Strategy Guide!

Cyril has created a fantastic book to accompany the Dark & Under II release.

The first section of the book provides an overview of the game and its development. A second section is the strategy guide, with the maps for each levels and an overview of the quests. The remainder of the book is devoted to an interactive adventure novel where you, the reader, chooses the actions of the book's hero, Terek 'The Whisper'.

Dark & Under II Software License Agreement

This is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and Garage Collective. By installing, copying, or otherwise using Dark & Under II (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. License Grant: This License permits you to use the Software on any computer or device solely for personal or internal business purposes.

2. Restrictions:
a. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Software.
b. You may not distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or use the Software for any commercial purpose.
c. You may not remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the Software.
d. You may not host the Software code on any website or server accessible to the public.

3. Ownership: The Software is licensed, not sold. Garage Collective retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights, patents, trade secret rights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.

4. Termination: This License is effective until terminated. Your rights under this License will terminate automatically without notice from Garage Collective if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this License.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty: The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Garage Collective makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Garage Collective be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

7. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof.

If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not install, use, or copy the Software, and you must promptly delete or destroy any copies of the Software in your possession or control.
